Providing sufficient and effective legal and financial services is an important part of the services that CPS offers. Our affiliate network of attorneys and legal referral organizations provide a number of services for clients with a variety of problems. These problems include:

Employees can receive prompt answers to legal questions. When further legal assistance is required; employees will receive a 25% reduction in attorney fees when referred through our attorney network. The 25% discount also applies to contingency cases. Employees can obtain a free 30 minutes phone consultation with an attorney licensed in the state where they live. A national survey concluded that between 25-30% of all legal problems are satisfactorily resolved over the telephone. This service cannot be used if the legal matter is against the organization.

Employees can also purchase a low-cost will preparation kit. The kit includes an explanation booklet, handbook to prepare the will and 800# to the Law Access Center to help answer questions.

Financial Services

CPS also has extensive resources to assist employees and family members with their financial planning needs. The EAP has a network of professionals and organizations that can intervene when someone has a financial problem of any nature.
