Work-Site Crisis / Trauma - Employee Assistance

Telephone and On-Site Trauma Services:

If a crisis or trauma occurs CPS's team will provide an immediate response within 24 hours, 7 days a week. CPS has an award winning National and International network prepared to intervene. CPS is a recognized leader in the field and has provided CISD training to other EAPs.

The telephonic and onsite services include:

  • Management and employee defusing and consultation
  • Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD)
  • Identify employees who need further assistance. This can include a referral for counseling, support groups, and/or community resources.
  • Information and education on the Trauma cycle, survival and support.

Events may include:

  • Serious workplace injuries or death
  • Death of a co-worker or family member
  • Assaults, violent acts or threats in the workplace
  • Suicide of an employee
  • Accidents that result in an injury
  • Other traumatic family or work events
